Among the many reasons that organization implement a CRM, tracking and managing interactions between staff and contacts, is near the top of the list. For many organizations, the expansion of multi-channel communication to texting, adds a new layer of complexity to that need for tracking. How does a company capture back and forth text messages, in the CRM, along-side of all the other communication channels? Well, tracking those messages in GoldMine just got easier with GoldSMS. With just one click from within GoldMine you can connect directly to the national SMS network, send your contact a text, and have it automatically logged to history -– you no longer need to know the carrier of the person you are trying to reach!

How it Works

"Your organization is assigned one or more ""corporate"" text numbers. When a user wants to send a 1-to-1 text, they simply go to the appropriate contact, click a button, and the texting dialog-box appears. Previous conversations are automatically loaded for review, threaded similar to what one sees in a smartphone. The contacts mobile number is automatically identified or you can choose a different number. As you type your message, GoldSMS automatically tracks the messsage length, notifying you if you are approaching or exceeding the 160 character limit of texts. Add or remove a salutation or a closing, and send the message.

Scheduling text and group texts are even easier. Just schedule an ""Other Action"" in GoldMine to the contact or a to a group of contacts, type the message in the Notes, choose the date and time, and GoldSMS will monitor it's calendar and send your message for you as instructed.

Sending a text via an Automated Process is no different than creating a step that schedules an an activity. Once scheduled, GoldSMS will send it as instructed.

When messages arrive, GoldSMS looks to see who sent the last text to that contact and schedules an alarmed activity, notifying the appropriate user when that text has arrived. It's as simple as any other fuction inside of GoldMine today."

How it Works

Use the bundled form builder, you simply create your survey as you would with any other tool. Choose from a variety of formats including pull-down menus, radio buttons, multiple-selection options, and free form response fields. When ready, you can simply send the survey, to anyone in your GoldMine database, either as a 1-off or to a Group/Filter. When the recipient submits their responses, those responses are then recorded and GoldMine and available for reference or to report on, at any point in time. You also have the ability to apply logic to the responses. That logic can notify via e-mail, notify via text message, trigger an automated process or even create new records in GoldMine, automatically.

How it Works

It's now that time in the sales process when you need to create a quote... simply open QuoteWerks directly from GoldMine. Once QuoteWerks opens, you pull all the contact information from GoldMine, which may include Company, Contact, Address, Phone Numbers, Ship To and/or Bill To Address information, Terms, and anything else you are storing in GoldMine. Next, you open up the product list, which you may have created from scratch, imported from another source, or dynamically retrieved from your QuickBooks or Peachtree software. Once all your items are added and your quote is complete, click the Save button. Saving your quote provides you with a dialog box allowing you the choice of Creating a Linked Document, Scheduling a Follow-up call, and/or Creating a Forecasted Sale / Opportunity back in GoldMine for you. Finally, you can click the Print button, chose your preferred layout, cover page, literature to include, to then Preview, Print, E-Mail, or simply just Save as a PDF file. QuoteValet is the online quote delivery and acceptance vehicle for QuoteWerks. In short, QuoteValet is a more robust way to deliver quotes to your customers and prospects. Rather than attaching a PDF file to the quote and emailing it to your customer (where spam filters strip it out), QuoteValet will create a personalized web page to present the quote on quotevalet.com. The advantage of using QuoteValet is that you will actually know when your customer has received the quote. You will know when they have viewed the quote and how often they review the quote. Your customer will be able to change quote options dynamically and ask you questions through the customized quote page — keeping all communication together. Most importantly, they will be able to electronically accept and sign the quote! You can then collect credit card payment from your customer that is directly deposited into your checking account. These payments are synchronized with QuickBooks.

How it Works

When using QuoteValet, you would create quotes as you normally would. When you click on the Deliver button, you would still select your template, coverpage, and literature as usual. However, now you would have a new option available. That option is the "Upload to QuoteValet" button. You can now review your PDF, which will also be uploaded, and preview the page the customer will see when they follow the link. Once you're happy with the quote, QuoteValet will e-mail the customer for you, sending him a link the quote page and giving him the ability to download the PDF for himself. Now, the fun begins. Each time the customer loads the page, you are notified. The customer can now post questions, add/remove optional items, even approve and pay for the order, all within the QuoteValet portal!
